I am a marketing graduate with a passion for games and writing. I’ve played games since I was 3 years old with my first games being Porsche Challenge for the PSone and Goldeneye 007 on the 64. I grew up playing games with my much older brother which always threw me in the deep end but it meant I was able to play all kinds of different games at the time. I do have a tendency to feel nostalgic about some of the older games I played as a child but I call it like I see it.
Since then I dabbled in competitive shooters but I now find myself most attracted to narrative driven games and games that take chances with interesting premises and mechanics.
What I bring to the table is the viewpoint of someone who loves games and can afford games but rarely has time to play games like I used to. With a regular job and partner as well as seeing my friends something has to give. I still play games, just not as much. I don’t see this as a bad thing. I think that a lot of people can relate to this and hopefully my writing can give a new and different perspective.
